The Inaugural Fresh Summit Career Fair:
An Essential Opportunity for
Tomorrow’s Produce Leaders

WHO? Student job candidates from eleven agriculture and food marketing programs from around the globe will have the opportunity to interview with ten leading fresh produce companies.

Candidates include Pack Scholarship Recipients as well as Pack Alumni.

WHAT? The inaugural Fresh Summit Career Fair, hosted by the PMA Education Foundation, provides an exciting opportunity for the next generation of fresh produce leaders to submit their resumes for an opportunity to interview with ten leading produce companies while attending PMA's Fresh Summit Expo. Each student can submit their resumes online via the individual company links above for a chance to fill one of the eight interview slots available with each company. Companies have the discretion to choose their eight interviewees from the collection of submitted resumes and will contact their preferred candidates directly to schedule the meeting.

WHERE? The event is held in conjunction with the 2008 Fresh Summit International Convention and Exposition, taking place October 24-27 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

WHEN? The Career Fair will take place on Sunday, October 26, 2008 from 7:30 AM to 4:15 PM.

WHY? Fresh Summit, the largest U.S. produce exposition, provides the perfect venue for this Fair because of its prominence within the fresh produce industry. This pilot program will test the feasibility of facilitating face-to-face job interviews at large industry expositions between bright, young college students and key company representatives. The Fair provides a convenient, economical, one-of-a-kind opportunity for both recruiters and job seekers.
