For Students:
PMAEF strives to provide exciting opportunities for students to gain personal insight into produce careers through various program offerings. We are currently researching various formats for both culinary and agriculture internship programs that we hope to introduce later next year. In addition, PMAEF is looking into Field Day Coop and a Job Shadowing Program.
For Educators:
PMAEF is also currently building a network of Visiting Produce Professors to provide a personalized classroom experience that we hope spurs interest into the vast career opportunities available in the produce industry. We are also researching the value of a semester-long college course involving non-traditional classroom formats such as video feeds and on-site visits.
